Laura Jackson is a modern polymath, a supper-club host, broadcaster and, most recently, founder of homeware marketplace Glassette.

It might seem like she has fingers in all manner of differently flavoured pies, but there is one ingredient that connects all she does: community. Having mastered the art of hosting while studying events management at university, Laura, something of a social butterfly, discovered a knack for bringing people together – be it around a beautifully laid dinner table or online.

Laura is also known for her love of – and astute eye for – interiors. And if there’s one thing that gets Laura particularly wide-eyed, it’s hunting for knick-knacks. These treasures fill every corner of the home in Forest Gate, east London, she shares with her photographer husband, Jon Gorrigan, and their three children, Sydney, Remy and Nico.
