Charli is a published author with two books Misfit and Splash released to critical acclaim.

Once dropped by her modeling agency for being ‘too big’, Howard has written body image books for adolescents and launched skincare line Squish with inclusion at its core. Celebrities like Dua Lipa and Daisy Lowe have worn Squish products, which are stocked in Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie. Squish and Howard post non-retouched photos.

Charli has been coveted by titles including Vogue, Rollacoaster and Stella and has fronted campaigns for leading brands including Coco de Mer, Good American, GHD and Pat McGrath Labs.

 

Charli is a big advocate for women’s rights and body positivity, she utilises her platform and profile to draw attention to these issues, she works alongside charity partners including The Princes Trust and the ABC organisation. Additionally, she has written features for British Vogue and Grazia highlighting issues around eating disorders and representation.

Charli launched Squish in the US in 2019, a year on, the brand has been nominated for a Vogue Beauty Award and secured stockists globally including, the cornerstone of British luxury Liberty and Harrods and a global partnership with Urban Outfitters.

Squish is a culture brand rooted in female empowerment, representation and feeling good. The line of products targeted at every woman’s daily skin gripes that can be “squished” right into the skin. Squish, which is 100% photoshop-free, is founded upon the principle of diversity and a celebration of embracing who you are. The brand’s (role) models showcase every skin tone and texture (including cellulite, acne and scars), various body shapes and sizes, genders, and who, most importantly, are more than just a pretty face.
