Allan plays the colourful ‘MC Grindah’ in People Just Do Nothing. His unique and socially observant comedy style sets the tone and underpins the cultural accuracy of the showPeople Just Do Nothing has been hugely successful, receiving nominations for Best TV Situation Comedy at the Writer’s Guild Awards and Best Scripted Comedy at the 2016 BAFTAs. In 2017, they won Best Scripted Comedy at the BAFTAs, the Royal Television Society Awards and won Best Television Series at the NME Awards.

Allan is a part of People Just Do Nothing’s alter ego performance group ‘Kurupt FM’. He leads in Kurupt FM’s live show, which has toured festivals across Europe, including KOKO and Brixton Academy. They won ‘Garage Act of The Year’ at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.

Allan played ‘Chaz’ in Dean Craig’s Netflix hit Love Wedding Repeat alongside Sam Claflin and Freida Pinto. It received brilliant reviews, with Vox stating that the film was “diverting and clever, with a talented cast”.
